Salt spray test is a kind of environmental test which mainly uses artificial simulated salt spray environment conditions created by salt spray test equipment to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials.
Salt fog refers to the dispersion system consisting of tiny Saline droplets in the atmosphere, which is one of the three protective systems of artificial environment. Many products need to check the destructive effect of the ocean climate. And salt fog test is to simulate the occurrence of this phenomenon, so the detection equipment-salt fog test box should be carried out as the times require.
Salt fog test is divided into neutral salt fog and acid salt fog. The difference lies in the different standards and test methods. Also known as "NSS" and "CASS" test, it is the most common test method in artificial three-proof climate.
The general standard of salt spray test in our company is 5% concentration and 24h duration. Our salt spray test results are excellent for both chrome wire shelving and powder coated wire shelving.
